At the beginning of the season in particular, the huts only open when the paths are clear of snow and safe to walk on. At the end of the season, the weather can cause huts to close earlier for the winter break. Before you set off on your tour, it's best to check the current opening times to avoid surprises and plan your hike in advance. That way, nothing stands in the way of a successful mountain experience!
